Chocolate Festival in the Fairchild Botanical Garden

Hello Everyone!

We visited the Fairchild Botanical Garden last Sunday and enjoyed the amazing Annual Chocolate Festival. The weather was gorgeous and we had a really nice time checking out many tents with hundreds of vendors.
Please see my photos (sorry if some of them are a bit blurry but I had only my Iphone with me) and enjoy :)

You can follow the recipe with the help of this Youtube video:

Ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1,5 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
7g yeast
0,5 cup warm water + 1 cup warm water
olive oil

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup of warm water with sugar.Dissolve it and let it sit for 10-15 minutes until water is frothy. Combine flour and salt in large bowl. Make a hole in the middle of flour and pour the watery yeast in there. Slowly add 1 cup of warm water, and stir until elastic.

Place your dough on a floured surface and knead for 10-15 minutes. When the dough is no longer sticky and is smooth, it was successfully kneaded.

Coat your bowl with olive oil and place your dough there. Coat your dough with the olive oil.

Allow to sit the dough in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Once doubled, pinch off 10-12 small pieces.

Place balls on a floured surface and let them sit covered for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 500 F.

Roll out each ball of dough with a rolling pin into thin circles.

Bake each circle for 3-4 minutes until the bread puffs up. Turn over and bake for 2 minutes on its other side.

Remove each pita with a spatula from the baking sheet and add additional pitas for baking.

Take spatula and gently push down puff. Immediately place in storage bags.
