New Orleans

We spent 4 days in New Orleans, Lousiana. The city is like a mix and match settlement. You can see the style of the 1920's, the influence of jazz and of course the modernism, too. The people there were all nice and helpful, they are mostly African-Americans. Here are pictures from the days and nights, how we saw the city in just a short time. Enjoy!

A horse in the street.

There were street signs in the pavement.

Each street had a street sign like this.

The French Quarter.

The view from the hotel room: Crescent City Connection.

Another view from the hotel: the Mississippi.

Casino in the neighbourhood.

Canal street streetcar.

The Jackson Brewery.

Houses in the French Quarter with nice balconies.

Old and new together.

A nice coexistence.

Friends drinking together.

I like that there was so much green in the city centre.

Sculptures, monuments and fountains all over the city.
